May I use your art?

Now that all depends on what you're using it for...
You can use my work for personal use or as reference for learning how to draw... everybody has to start somewhere! Just don't copy/trace my work directly and claim it as your own!
You cannot claim my work as your own or use any of my characters (unless in a trade or gift art)!
You cannot use my work for commercial use!
You cannot use my work on other websites such as MySpace, blogs, online galleries etc.
You cannot use my characters/work for Roleplays etc.


Are you open for trades/ request/ comissions?

At specified times...
Trades: Rarely, I'll usually ask you first!
Requests: NO
Comissions: yes!
Gift Art: you never know!


Can I draw your characters?

Gift Art and Fan Art are always very much appreciated, and send me a link because I'd love to see them!
However, you may not draw my characters and claim them as your own! All my drawings and characters are (C) to ME


Where do you get your inspiration from?

I draw inspiration from many places, other great artists both on DA and in history inspire me, and I also take inspiration from cartoons and films by Disney & Dreamworks (I'm a sucker for a good kids film!)... I also find that drawing from life studies and primary photographs really helps!
My boyfriend's cats have great personalities! Studying their behaviour on a daily basis and getting to know them is inspiring for creating characters of my own!


Can you teach me to draw/paint etc?

Not really, I'm a rubbish teacher! I have tutorials if you need help, and there are plenty more on DA!
Like most artists on DA, I would recommend drawing from life and learning anatomy- visit the zoo as often as possible, or if you can't get to the zoo, draw your pets, or your friends' pets! It will take time, but eventually you will grasp the basics
I also find it helpful when I'm stuck for poses to gather stock images and photos of dogs, wolves, foxes, cats etc.

What do you use to draw your pictures?

I use Photoshop CS4 and a Wacom Bamboo, on a PC. For traditional work I use a variety of pencils, pens, and paper, nothing too fancy! I'm a student on a tight budget!
